The new United Polaris Lounge at San Francisco Airport has opened, inspiring business travellers with numerous amenities, including typical Californian meals and beverages among the culinary creations, alongside good wines. The sushi station is also a highlight, chiming perfectly with United’s range of Pacific flights to and from San Francisco. Those with time on their hands can borrow binoculars to survey San Francisco Bay and the airport area.
All passengers on international long-haul flights, travelling in either United Polaris Business Class or United Polaris Global First Class, have access to the United Polaris Lounge. Guests of Star Alliance partners with international First or Business Class tickets are also eligible. The San Francisco lounge is the world’s second United Polaris Lounge after the first opened at Chicago O’Hare. This year, three more will open their doors in Newark, Houston and Los Angeles.
