You can save yourself and your colleagues a lot of time and stress by flying SWISS to the USA. Travellers registered for TSA Pre✓have their own security checks at more than 200 American airports.
Now SWISS passengers too can use Precheck by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Registration at tsa.gov/precheck is required.
Travellers then receive a so-called Known Traveller Number. This must be quoted at check-in on each flight. With the indicator printed on their boarding pass, certified travellers can then use the security controls reserved for TSA Pre✓. In this case, there is no need to take off your shoes or belt, for example, and you can also leave your laptop in your carry-on baggage.
Good to know: registered members of Global Entry, a programme that facilitates entry to the United States, are automatically registered for TSA Pre✓.
