Up to eight daily connections offer convenient connections to Lufthansa flights in Frankfurt. Lufthansa Express Rail passengers also benefit from a reserved seat, Miles & More award miles and a guaranteed connection. In the event of an unexpected train or flight delay, Lufthansa will transfer their passengers to a connecting train. Business Class passengers travel in Deutsche Bahn First Class, and have access to the DB Lounges in Frankfurt and Nuremberg. Seat allocation for the Lufthansa Express Rail Service and train check-in between 23 hours and 15 minutes before departure take place online via LH.com or on the go via the Lufthansa App. Boarding passes operate as tickets for the booked Lufthansa Express Rail connection. At the AiRail terminal in Frankfurt, Lufthansa Express Rail passengers can check in and collect their baggage.
With these two new destinations, Lufthansa is now offering its useful Express Rail Service in a total of eight cities within Germany.
