Perfectly connected – as of now Lufthansa Express Rail offers up to seven daily connections between Dortmund main station and Frankfurt Airport. As the arrival times have been precisely coordinated with Lufthansa flights, transfer times are reduced to a minimum.
The trains have a Lufthansa flight number and are booked exactly like a domestic feeder flight. The ticket for the train is the Lufthansa boarding pass. From Dortmund, from 23 hours before departure of the train, passengers can simply check in online or via the Lufthansa app. If taking the train from Frankfurt you will already receive your boarding pass at the check-in of the respective airport where your journey begins.
Apart from Dortmund there are also Lufthansa Express Rail connections from Cologne to Frankfurt as well as from Dusseldorf to Frankfurt.
