One app – many benefits

With the new customer service app, Lufthansa offers you all-round customer care: before, during and after the flight. Regardless of whether you’re rebooking, cancelling a flight or locating luggage: everything can be conveniently controlled via the app. In addition to self-service, chat and callback services, the established contact channels such as call and e-mail remain available as well. 

Another advantage: the data of your Lufthansa app can be seamlessly transferred. When getting in touch via callback, chat or e-mail you benefit from your data being available to the service agent and not having to be provided again. By displaying the current waiting time, Lufthansa also gives the customer transparency even before contact – and with suitable self-services always immediately available alternatives.

What is more: customers calling via the app will be put through to a service agent faster as the selection of the topic has already been done in the customer service app and so many of the telephone options are avoidable. With FlyNet, chat even works on board Lufthansa flights – so is almost non-stop.

The new service is available for iOS smartphones for the German market and can be easily downloaded from the App Store.
