The Lufthansa Group Airlines are unifying the prices for booking seats with more legroom – for flights from 5 September 2017. With SWISS too the prices will in future be guided by – as with Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa – the length of the route and will be between 25 and 100 euros. This way you can enjoy at least ten centimetres more legroom at a consistent price on your business trips with Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and SWISS.
At the same time, SWISS will also switch the prices of the preferred seating area to a zone concept, which is likewise related to the length of the route. The most popular seats directly behind Business Class can be booked from 17 euros. A good decision for everybody who would like to save time after landing and to disembark faster.
HON Circle Members and Senators will continue to be able to reserve a seat with more legroom as well as a seat in the preferred seating zone free of charge.* On SWISS flights in Europe a seat in the preferred seating zone is already included in the Economy Flex fare.
* Exception: Economy Light fare. On long-haul flights with Austrian Airlines, seats with more legroom are also available for a fee for HON Circle Members and Senators.
