More comfort in Austrian Business Class

As an Austrian Business Class passenger you can now look forward to more comfort on short- and medium-haul routes.

Through to 2017 Austrian Airlines is refurbishing the cabin interiors of 29 Airbus types A319, A320 and A321 aircraft.

As well as a more flexible cabin class divider, Austrian Airlines is also optimising the seat comfort in Business Class. With increased seat pitch and better quality seat upholstery, comfort for Business Class passengers will be improved considerably. The seat pitch will be increased by 5 cm, from 76.2 cm to 81.2 cm. The space needed to do this is saved by optimizing the galleys and stowage space for the on-board equipment.

The empty middle seat in Business Class continues as usual.

In the course of this refurbishment the cabin design of the Airbus fleet will also be re-modelled.
