São Paulo is Brazil’s most important economic, financial and cultural centre and the largest industrial area in Latin America. More than 21 million inhabitants live in the metropolitan region of Grande São Paulo. This makes São Paulo one of the world’s largest cities.
From 2 December Lufthansa will once again be flying to the Brazilian metropolis from Munich – every Monday, Thursday and Saturday evening.
This will expand the Lufthansa Group's range of flights to São Paulo in winter 2019/2020 and increase flexibility on this route:
- new – fly Lufthansa from Munich (MUC): 3 flights a week from 2 December 2019
- fly Lufthansa from Frankfurt (FRA): daily
- fly SWISS from Zurich (ZRH): daily
On the Munich–São Paulo route, Lufthansa is deploying an A350-900 for the first time on a South American route. This Airbus type is currently the most modern and environmentally friendly long-haul aircraft in the world and will fly you and your colleagues extremely comfortably to the megacity of São Paulo.
