The Lufthansa Group airlines make it a priority to ensure that passengers always reach their destinations punctually and reliably. Nevertheless if air traffic disruptions occur, the departure gate changes, a flight is delayed or even has to be cancelled, passengers can be informed of any flight changes in good time via SMS, email or app notification.

To ensure that passengers receive the relevant flight information as quickly as possible, it is important to keep their contact details up to date, for example:

  • At lufthansa.com in the ‘My booking’ section
  • In the relevant Miles & More profile
  • In the relevant Lufthansa iD

Travellers using the Lufthansa app already receive their notifications directly via messages on their smartphone.
