As a Lufthansa passenger you can now not only treat yourself but also help others when you make an on-board purchase. Until 28 February 2018, for every on-board purchase Lufthansa is donating one euro to the ‘India Sponsorship Circle’ project of Lufthansa aid’s organization, help alliance. You can choose from around 200 products from the jewellery, cosmetics, entertainment, toys and gifts selections. In addition, there’s an opportunity to order 82 additional products at lh.com/preflight-shopping online in advance. The selected product will be delivered directly to the aircraft and you can decide on board whether you’d like to buy it. Just twenty in-flight shopping purchases will enable a child to attend boarding school for one month.
Madhya Pradesh is one of the world’s poorest regions. Today, the 20 boarding schools in the project are home to over 2,000 children of all ages, ethnicities and religions. The boarding schools provide them with nutritious meals, clothing, medical care and education. In addition, health camps are being set up so that inhabitants of remote villages can also have access to medical care.
