Direct to San Jose in the heart of Silicon Valley

From 1 July 2016 for the first time Lufthansa will fly to San Jose, California (USA). The new connection takes off each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday in the morning from Frankfurt and reaches San Jose after 12 hours travel time in the early afternoon. The return flight departs from San Jose in the afternoon as a night flight and lands the following day in the late morning in Frankfurt. The flight times have thus been perfectly scheduled to connect to flights in Germany and Europe. There are three classes available to choose from when booking your business trip: Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy.

The airport at San Jose becomes an international hub

Lufthansa is the first European airline to offer a nonstop connection to the greater San Jose area and its approx. 1 million inhabitants. Alongside the largest high-tech companies worldwide, numerous renowned biotech, pharmaceutical and medical companies are located in Silicon Valley. Many large car manufacturers run their research laboratories there.
