Together with Deutsche Bahn (DB), Lufthansa is expanding the Express Rail routes to Frankfurt Airport. The additional ICE services from Cologne, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart, Aachen and Ulm offer Lufthansa passengers even better coordinated connections for their arrival and departure at Frankfurt Airport and make transfer to the flight very convenient.
Starting with the DB timetable change in mid-December, 119 Lufthansa Express trains per week will run from Cologne Central Station to Frankfurt Airport instead of the previous 77. The number of ICE trains on the route to and from Dusseldorf will be doubled to 105. In future, customers from Stuttgart will be offered 77 connections a week, with 42 and 49 Express Rail trains a week to and from Aachen and Ulm respectively.
