Starting in summer 2020, Lufthansa will be enhancing its long-haul services at its largest hub in Frankfurt. From 29 April 2020, Lufthansa will also be flying to Phoenix in Arizona five times a week – on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays – in cooperation with Eurowings. The flight leaves Frankfurt at 14:05 hours and arrives at its destination at 17:05 hours local time. The return flight takes off from Phoenix at 18:55 hours and arrives in Frankfurt at 15:05 hours the next day.
The new Frankfurt–Phoenix connection can be booked under both a Eurowings flight number and a Lufthansa marketing flight number. When booking the Lufthansa marketing flight number, seats are available in Economy Class, Premium Economy Class and Business Class. With the Eurowings flight number, only the SMART fare, which corresponds to Economy Class, can be booked.
