The readers of American travel magazine Global Traveller have once again voted Brussels Airlines the Best Transatlantic Airline. This is the second consecutive year that the airline has received the award. The Belgian airline serves three destinations in North America, including New York, Washington and Toronto. From 29 March 2020, Brussels Airlines will offer flights to Montreal.
In 2019, Brussels Airlines invested in upgrading its long-haul fleet and welcomed seven newer, quieter and more environmentally friendly aircraft. The airline also refurbished the cabin interiors of aircraft flying to and from North America and introduced a brand new Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class on its flights to and from Africa and North America. Since 1 August, Premium Economy Class has been available on all flights to and from New York, Washington and Toronto. However, the seasonal connection to Toronto will be discontinued on 8 January.
