The newest aircraft type in the airline’s fleet with the ultramodern United Polaris Business Class seats replaces the Boeing 777-200 used on the Frankfurt San Francisco route at the moment. United’s 777-300ER offers a modern, spacious interior which also includes the completely redesigned United Polaris Business Class seat. Each seat, modelled on a private suite, is situated next to the aisle and can, with its individually adjustable width of approximately 58 centimetres, be converted into a roughly 2-metre-long flat bed. In addition, there are various settings for the backrest, numerous storage compartments and several spaces which enable passengers to dine while working. There are power outlets and USB ports, a 16-inch High-Definition entertainment screen, an electronic divider for the seats in the middle of the cabin, soothing illumination and a lit ”Do not disturb” sign.
