In the capital of Lithuania visitors can walk in the footsteps of history. Baroque buildings in Polish and Italian styles and more than 100 churches, which lend Vilnius its epithet, characterise the Old Town which was designated a UNESCO Cultural Heritage site in 1995. Alongside excellent museums and galleries the university city is also home to trendy clubs such as techno-club Opium or the rock bar Bix Baras.
