The 2017 summer destinations for your holiday

Lufthansa will be flying to two additional attractive summer destinations from Munich: from 28 March 2017 there will be 6 flights a week (daily except Wednesday) from Munich to Nantes in France’s Pays de la Loire region. With the start of the Easter holidays on 9 April 2017 Lufthansa will be flying for the first time from the Bavarian state capital of Munich to Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain. In addition, from 27 March 2017 there will be flights from Frankfurt every Monday, Thursday and Friday to this Spanish city of pilgrimage.

Austrian Airlines currently flies every Wednesday and Saturday to Marrakech. Another destination has also been added to the flight schedule: from 2 June 2017 there will be three flights a week from Vienna to Gothenburg. This city on the Swedish coast is not only an important economic centre but is also considered a culinary hotspot with an extensive cultural scene. With 21 flights a week to Stockholm and three weekly connections to Gothenburg, Austrian Airlines is offering a total of two destinations and 24 weekly direct flights to Sweden.

For the first time SWISS passengers can fly from Zurich to Bergen, Norway’s second-largest city and the starting point of the Hurtigruten. Nature lovers with a preference for activity holidays can in future benefit from a direct connection to Cork in southern Ireland, the starting point of the Wild Atlantic Way.
