With the 2017 summer timetable Lufthansa offers great connections to many attractive new destinations.
From the end of March 2017 Santiago de Compostela, Galicia’s capital in the north-west of Spain will be served three times a week from Frankfurt as well as once a week from Munich. In addition, from 2 April 2017, the French city of Bordeaux will be served twice a week, and from 29 April 2017 Shannon in the west of Ireland once a week from Frankfurt.
Travellers whose business takes them frequently to the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius will benefit from an increase in already existing connections from Frankfurt (Mondays to Fridays) by one additional afternoon flight. There are also more flights to Lisbon and Oslo, which will in future be served daily from Frankfurt. The direct connections from Munich are being increased too. For example, there will be 5 flights a week to Graz, 6 flights a week to Dublin, as well as daily flights to Sibiu.
In addition, this summer the Frankfurt – Dubai route will be served for the first time operating a Boeing 747, which offers travellers a particularly spacious interior. At the end of March you can also fly from Munich non-stop to Marrakech for the first time. The royal city, which is renowned for its lively cultural scene, will be served twice a week on Fridays and Sundays.
The German domestic network is being expanded further as well. The Frankfurt – Paderborn route will be included in the schedule. Furthermore, from 15 April 2017 there will be weekly flights from Frankfurt non-stop to Heringsdorf on the island of Usedom.
