The first Lufthansa children’s app was a great success and was meant for children of up to six years old. Now older children can also look forward to very special game fun: the new app ‘Super JetFriends’ for seven to eleven year olds.
The exciting airport cosmos
And this is what it’s all about: together with the Lufthansa mascots Lu and Cosmo kids tackle important tasks inside the airport cosmos – this is done via exciting, educational games: they build their own super-plane, help the air traffic controller navigate the aircraft, refuel the waiting planes, train their knowledge and much more.
Latest app trend for the first time in Germany
As a highlight Lufthansa has integrated the innovative children’s app trend ‘Kids Can Code’ from the USA into the game: kids solve tasks through simple programming codes. This stimulates logical thinking and tactics and is a lot of fun! Lufthansa has thus developed the first app with this innovative game feature in German.
Free of charge and childproof
The free Lufthansa app ‘Super JetFriends’ was developed with the help and advice of children and is completely childproof – without advertising and in-app purchases. It also contains a separate parent’s area with explanations. The app is available free of charge for both smartphones and tablets from August 2015 in German and English for iOS- as well as Android devices and can be downloaded in the app store or at Google Play™.
