You now have a special opportunity to receive an upgrade to Premium Economy Class: “myOffer”. According to the motto “your upgrade at your price” you can make an offer for an upgrade if you own a valid Lufthansa Economy Class ticket – and with a bit of luck enjoy the advantages of the Premium Economy Class on your long-haul flight. The precondition is of course that it is available for that particular destination.
This means: you can decide for yourself how much the upgrade is worth to you. This way every participant has the chance to fly Premium Economy Class at the price of his or her choice.
Every offer counts
If you have booked an Economy Class ticket you can follow the quick link to “My Bookings” on LH.com, log in and check your booking. If “myOffer” applies to it, you will see the corresponding link which will take you to the “myOffer”-page. Here you can place an upgrade offer by stating the price you are willing to pay.
The offer always applies to everybody the ticket was issued for: for three people for example the offer would be tripled. Offers are always valid per route. Every guest can decide whether to make an offer for the entire route or individual segments.
After you have selected the price for your upgrade, you will be requested to enter your credit card details. The payment will be effected later only if the upgrade offer was successful. In the final step you can check your offer again before you send it. Every participant receives a confirmation mail.
The offer can be adapted or withdrawn up to 72 hours before the scheduled departure. After this point no additional offers, alterations or cancellations are possible. To modify the offer or check the status please log in again via “My Bookings” or via the link stated in the confirmation e-mail which will lead you to your offer on the “myOffer”-page.
Selection and upgrade
During the selection process further criteria besides the amount offered are taken into consideration, for example, how many seats are still available in Premium Economy Class and how many offers have been made. In addition, the eligibility of the tickets will also be checked once again according to the terms & conditions.
All passengers who have made an offer will be notified 36 to 24 hours before departure via e-mail about the acceptance or rejection of their offer. If the offer was successful, the corresponding amount will be debited from the credit card. The passengers concerned will also receive an updated e-ticket. If the offer wasn’t accepted passengers will fly Economy Class as originally planned and no additional charges will apply.
“myOffer” is now available for all Premium Economy Class destinations. Due to technical and/or legal restrictions tickets which were bought in India or Japan as well as tickets bought through group bookings are unfortunately excluded.
