From the end of April, Austrian Airlines will be including the Vienna–Montreal connection in its flight timetable. Located on the St. Lawrence River, Montreal will be served daily in summer and five times a week in winter. The Vienna–Toronto connection will be operated by the Star Alliance and joint venture partner Air Canada and will also be bookable as a codeshare flight via Austrian Airlines. Air Canada will operate a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on the year-round connection between Vienna and Toronto from the end of April 2019. There will be a daily connection from Vienna to Toronto in the summer timetable and five flights per week in the winter timetable. As a result, Canada's largest airline serving this route will offer the same number of flights and comparable departure and arrival times as Austrian Airlines.
