Munich Airport: another great success at the World Airport Awards

Munich Airport is once again European champion: at the annual World Airport Awards presented by Skytrax, the renowned London-based aviation institute, Lufthansa’s Bavarian hub was once again awarded the title of ‘Best Airport in Europe’. For the 12th time in the past 14 years, Munich Airport has achieved this success. In a global comparison, Munich ranked 7th among the top ten airports.

The World Airport Awards are based on a global passenger survey. This year, almost 14 million passengers from 100 countries took part and rated 550 airports.

In Munich, you and your colleagues can look forward to excellent services. The airport is not only very efficient, but many passengers also see it as particularly hospitable and customer-oriented. Short distances, modern services and motivated staff ensure a relaxed travel experience at Lufthansa’s Munich hub.

In addition, since 2015, Munich Airport has been the only airport in Europe to bear the title ‘5-Star-Airport’. This title is awarded by Skytrax aviation experts as part of an audit.
