20 million passengers from more than 100 countries were surveyed – and the majority voted for Lufthansa to be the ‘Best Airline in Europe’. The passengers surveyed by the Skytrax market research institute were won over by the first-class service and the outstanding interior, which Lufthansa offers them worldwide.
However, Lufthansa not only won over the passengers as the best airline in Europe, its culinary offer for First Class passengers on intercontinental flights was also honoured with the ‘Best First Class Airline Lounge Dining’ award.
Lufthansa was also awarded the title of ‘Best Airline in Western Europe’. SWISS and Austrian Airlines were also nominated in this category.
Austrian Airlines was honoured with the ‘Best Airline Staff Service in Europe’ award for their employees.
A result that proves that our efforts to always provide the perfect flight experience and extensive service for our passengers pay off – and also spurs us on to defend these titles next year.
