From 12 September 2017, Lufthansa will be operating an Airbus A350-900 daily from Munich to Hong Kong (HKG), one of Asia’s most important trade centres and travel hubs. In addition, Lufthansa flies daily from Frankfurt, SWISS daily from Zurich, and Austrian Airlines five times a week from Vienna to Asia’s third-largest city. This means that the airlines of the Lufthansa Group offer up to four daily connections to Hong Kong. When flying via Vienna, you can benefit from a short minimum connecting time of 25 minutes.
The A350 is the world’s most modern long-haul aircraft and offers you an extraordinary flying experience. Thanks to optimised cabin pressure you will arrive feeling more rested after your trip on the A350. In addition, the long-haul aircraft is especially eco-friendly: it consumes 25% less kerosene, produces 25% fewer emissions and is considerably quieter during take-off than comparable aircraft types.
With the A350-900, Lufthansa is welcoming an ultra-modern, new addition to its fleet. The first of fifteen A350-900 was stationed in Munich in February 2017. In September 2017 five aircraft will be taking off from their home base of Munich and flying to Boston, Delhi, Mumbai and Hong Kong. The A350-900 has room for 293 passengers: 48 Business Class passengers, 21 in Premium Economy and 224 in Economy Class.
