From next summer’s timetable onwards Lufthansa will again be flying non-stop from Munich to Tehran. From 14 April 2016 flight LH 602 departs Munich three times a week at 22.10 hours and reaches Tehran at 5.20. The Airbus A330-300 offers Lufthansa passengers the latest cabin interior in all classes, including 21 seats in Premium Economy.
This new connection extends Lufthansa Group’s daily schedule with a Boeing B747-400 from Frankfurt. In addition, Austrian Airlines flies an Airbus A320 up to twice a day from Vienna.
The Iranian capital is situated 1,100 metres above sea level and has more than 10 million inhabitants. Half of Iran’s industry, in particular oil and gas, is based in Tehran. Other economies include textile, agricultural and construction material companies.
